Reflexion Produces Procrastination

I think I might have hurt somebody's feelings today by telling them something they didn't need to know. They were all happy, until I told them the truth... and I know it got them down. I don't know if I should have kept the truth to myself, or if I did the right thing. I guess the main question is: Are little white lies good or bad?
