Yesterday I woke up super early, had a shower, packed my overnight things, drove my brother to school, then went to Alice's house where I learned all about chemistry! I still remember that positive/negative real gas! ha ha... Anyways, then Alice and I bussed + subwayed downtown where I met up with Janet, wished Alice good luck on her exam, and then went to see Janet's place. By then it wasn't even near noon. Janet and I decided to go shopping... and we basically went everywhere downtown... as in we didn't stop shopping until after 4. Then we waited for Shannon and Doris to show up. Then the four of us plus Jenny and Celia went out for dinner. Not only was it very yummy, but we all learned something new about each other. We couldn't decide what to do afterwards, but Shannon and Doris had to go home. So Janet, Jenny, Celia and I went to Jenny and Celia's apartment ad hung out there. Oh card games... Bellinies and mike's combined didn't help Janet and I do well. ha ha.... then Janet and I went back to her place... watched the smurfs!! (yah... that was sooo the best!) We stayed up late talking and catching up... such a slumber party! lol.
This morning I woke up and was treated to breakfast by Janet... Thanx! But I was freaking out about being late to pick up my car from Tacky's as Janet's mother was stuck in traffic -because if I were then nobody would be there to let me get it. In the end we raced to Tacky's house, hoping to catch her mom who could let me in... but alas we must have just missed her... so I ended up actually busing back alone (ottawa people might not think that is shocking, but I hate the crazy system down here... and I will never understand it! ha ha)
Anyways, after walking home from my stop I started to do my laundry, and bake cookies. (lol - craig... I didn't burn them... plus my sink was clean enough to work with! wow.... I almost forgot what that was like...) ha ha. I love baking! I hope there are going to be more awesome adventures downtown... Tacky, we misssed you there!

Post I Wrote on the Train
Sitting here on the train, thinking about last night’s fun. Also listening to some music (Maggie, after hearing Incubus’ Anna Molly, I don’t really think that your friend Ian sounds like them, but I think the band itself in general does a little bit). So last night after my last exam Maggie came over and we hung out at my place until we got hungry, then we went out for dinner at the Royal Oak. Good food! Afterwards we headed down to see Maggie’s old co-worker in his band. I have to say they were like a million times better than what I expected (and very nice too!!) I got to meet their groupie (ha ha!) and got a free CD in the end! It was such a perfect night and I had the best time! Got back a little late… couldn’t sleep for a while because I kept thinking of things to pack that I had forgotten. Meh… I really hope I didn’t forget anything!
So far I have watched Mary Poppins and played a lot of mindsweeper and freecel. Good times…. but my battery is running low now so I don’t know what I am going to do for the rest of the trip! Seeing as how it’s only been a little over half way I think I’ll die of boredom before I make it!
So I am thrilled about this trip home. School is sucking… and next semester I am going to die… none of my courses are in English! What was I thinking? Maybe I am crazy… that sounds likely. Anyways, I am on the other hand looking forward to next semester… some classes are promising. Plus if things work out with people coming to visit me, it should be full of good times. I just need to get over my hatred for the weather here. Ha ha…. Next semester is going to be ultra cold, I can just feel it. It’s been too nice out these past few days that I can only guess how bad it is going to get in the next two months.
Anyways, I when I get the chance to post this I will be home and will have the chance to see everyone I miss!

Ten lords a-leaping!
Anyways, I got a mark back already. I thought it would have been a guaranteed A... alas it was only a B+. Grr. Oh well, I guess I can live with that. This semester was pretty much a disaster in terms of marks anyways...

Pretty Shameful
Is this sick or what:
Number of times I went to the mall each day this week...
Monday - once
Tuesday - three times
Wednesday -twice
Thursday - once (so far)
Friday - unknown!
...sad! I should really be studying instead of shopping....
too bad.

SH-SH-SHOPPING!
Yesterday I had my second last exam. I finished it pretty early then went shopping with Craig! (both grocery and regular shopping!) When we got back we went on music downloading sprees! When to bed a little early with a headache, and woke up this morning bright and early! Got an early start to my day by actually going to the gym by myself! (Felt pretty proud I actually went, even though I wasn't there very long...) Anyways, then I went to visit Maggie at the mall... then got bored and found out that Heather was free... so went over to her house and we went shopping for her brother! He he, then we went for beavertails... Heather made friends with some cute little birds, but I found out that she was discriminating against the bigger birds... tsk tsk.
------
While writing that, Maggie called me and asked me to help her do some more shopping, as she had just finished work... so I agreed, and went back to the mall - having nothing else to do anyways... ha ha. Anyways, the funny part is after I got home after the third time shopping today my daddy called me and told me he was having trouble finding something for my mom and he wants me to go back to the mall and look for him here. ha ha... I told him I don't think I could go to the same mall four times in one day, but this gives me a reason to go back very soon... ha ha!

New Angle.
Meh. I just want to go home without actually going home. I wish it was possible to go home without seeing family. Except of course my awesome brother... whom I miss! Aww... I am already dreaming of everything I am going to do when I get home... and of course it involves spending very little time actually in my house! There are certain people I HAVE to see! (namely Tacky, Heather, and Sharon). There are also tons of others I miss and better get the chance to see also!
So addicted to The Fray right now! Been playing "how to save a life" and "over my head" like a million times all week! ha ha. Sadly I can't relate to either of them... but I want to say to those that can that you are not losing me!

Post 363~
I'm happy that most of my exams are done... just two left! Woot! Then freedom! Well, as I don't have one for the rest of this week, I spent this afternoon shopping with Maggie Moo! lol. Yes, it's like totally freezing up here, but I still went downtown. I'm feeling too poor right now so I didn't buy anything for myself... although I totally fell in love with too many things! ha ha... that's my life! Oh well. I should really try to stay away from the mall... it's a huge temptation. It's just really hard because I love the mall too much! Anyways, I just wanted to say I spent the day shopping... instead of studying for my next exam (which will be the hardest yet).

The Cookie Story
I'm sure you can guess what happened by the picture, but let me tell the story anyways. After my first exam (which went well), Craig and I decided to make cookies. We had bought some pillsbury dough a while back but never used it. So we start making the cookies, and everything is going well. The directions say to bake them for 11-16 minutes, so we put them in the oven and go into our rooms to wait until they are ready. I was sitting here using facebook and thinking how good the were smelling until ten minutes after we put them in all of a sudden the fire alarm goes off and Craig and I both jump up and run into the kitchen. ha ha, we totally knew that we were probably the ones who had set it off. lol. So we see all the smoke and Craig opens the oven and takes out the cookies (which are pitch-black), then drops them in the sink and pours water on them... then we open the windows and doors to let the smoke out... all the while in a sort of half panic, half laughing... ha ha. As I am opening the window I see my friend from class who just got back from the exam and start talking to her from my kitchen window... while the smoke alarm is still going off. ha ha! Anyways, she suggests the oven fan (brilliant!), so we put that on and soon enough the alarm goes off. Sadly, half the cookies were soggy from when Craig poured water on them, but there were a few that were not, so I decided I had to try one. To my amazement, only the tops were burned, the underside was perfect! Oddly enough I liked the cookies and had two! lol... maybe we will try again another day... or maybe it's just better (/safer) if we never touch that oven again!

Snowy
Today is the first day of December. I woke up this morning to a beautiful snowy wonderland. Of course two seconds later I started to hate it... cuz I had to go all the way across campus to get to class. ggrrrr... ha ha. By the time my class had ended, it had started to hail. The snow was wet, so I was pretty happy with the whole idea of hail bouncing off me. lol. Anyways, when my next class ended it had started to rain. Rain is the worst. I can take the cold over the rain! I am always reminded of the wicked witch of the west who melts when she gets water poured on her. That's me! I melt! ha ha.
Anyways, after classes Craig and I went to Maggie's house to hang out with her, Becky and Dave. Yummy pizza hut, and Becky and I teamed up in the music seen it game. We came in third place... cuz you so know that I have no music knowledge! Getting to her house was hell in the rain... and we ended up walking home... i am very wet. of well... nice warm shower tomorrow and then tons of homework!

Complaint
okay, so that's technically not what I look like RIGHT now... as I am sitting here in a huge black sweatshirt (my bro's old one - and it could probably eat me if it wanted to). But that was me like a minute ago!Anyways, I'm like totally excited that all my midterms are finally over - (although the last one was a killer, failure for sure...). But this means that exams are right around the corner. Literally, they start next week for me! And I have 4 in one week!! Ooch! Oh, and if you were wondering, I also have two major projects due next week! Worst of all class isn't over yet! lol. Anyways, I'll be home in much less than a month. yah! I'm of course dreaming of all the good shopping and seeing tons of people that I missed last visit home. I seriously can't wait!

One Month Until Boxing Day!
Honestly can't wait to go home. Christmas is soo soon, as I am constantly reminded... and this semester seems everlasting - in a bad way! arg. I'm more so angry that I STILL have midterms. Hard ones too. grrrr. Anyways, I can't wait until my hard exams are over! The week I have before I go home sounds like a blast, and then my time home should be amazing... as I hope to have the chance to see everyone!!LATELY
-Friday: Nightime shopping after Craig locked himself out of his room.
-Saturday: Maggie's party... ha ha, firedrill!!
-Sunday: Alice's phone call!! (Can't believe we went through TWO calling cards!)

Mildly a Procrastinator.
Days leading up to the end of this week have been stressful. Today I had a midterm... (woot! only one more to go before exams start!). [Perhaps you wish me to post au sujet d'un petit event prior of which most are ignorant, but I thought nothing of it - and it had no effect ni évocation.] Anyways, tomorrow I have both a major essay for English, and an analysis for ESP. I think my essay is yucky, although prior to yesterday I was modestly pleased with it. The analysis on the other hand as yet to be completed. That's right... Shannon actually hasn't had it finished for like a week or something! We all remember high school, we know I never did my stuff last minute... but you can't imagine how much stuff I had to do lately. In my spare time I was too tired to even look at it. Of course it's not like it hasn't been started. lol. Seriously, did you think I could ever leave something completely to the last minute?! ha ha. I doubt it.

Pink and Homework and Shopping!
Ballerina days. ha ha, yesterday I really felt like a pretty ballerina as I had my hair in a tight bun and wore only pink. Sadly I had let my hair dry all tied up and when I took it out last night I realized it was insane! My hair was totally crazy! ha ha! So today I had to wear it up in a bun again! But it totally doesn't look I like have any hair in this photo. meh. Anyways, yesterday was boring because of sooo much homework... at least it seemed that way. I was working hard on my essay and almost finished it - so when I got up this morning that was the first thing I did. I finished it after lunch and then went shopping with Craig in celebration. Now I am working on my next project thing. oh the funness never stops! Ummm, last night Craig and I watched Sleeping Beauty!!! It's like so the best movie ever!! I've seen it like a billion times, and absolutely love it! I always thought that she was one of the prettiest disney princesses. lol. Anyways, back to my homework - I have a really busy week coming up!

Friday Night
Tonight, even though I really have to start doing my English essay, Craig and I ordered dinner in! Yummy! Later on we decided to go out, cuz it was Friday, so we went for bubble tea! Yummy! (So classic for me!) It was my first time ever having cherry bubble tea. Very good! But what is cooler is that it was Craig's first time! He had never had bubble tea... lol, shame! Anyways, I think he liked it. Anyways, when we got home we started thinking about playing some games. Uno, cards, card tricks... saw some of Pirates, and the season 3 christmas episode of family guy, just b/c it's getting close to christmas... I can't wait for christmas!!! Just over a month!

Haircut?! SOON! (hopefully!)
That makes twice this week I stayed up late and straightened my hair. I can asure you that I have no idea why I do this. It's not like anyone will see, and by the next morning it's not perfect anymore. Plus, it's probably not the best thing to do to my hair... I can't explain it. - On another topic I sooo need a haircut! (If you read my blog last year you would know when I say that I do, it's usually a really long time before I get around to it!)Today I had my oral presentation. C'était en français! yah, you could say that it pretty much went just like any of my other presentations... not good. I can name only a few presentations I actually liked... and that was because of my pretty visuels... lol. Yea, when it comes to orals, I tend to talk really fast and make very little sense. After class I was talking to this guy who was also in my class last year, and he cheered me up by saying that I at least seemed more confident this time. yah! Shame I can't be more calm when I have to go up there. Oh well. At least it's over. That's all I can say!
Well, you knew it had to happen. I'm wondering if anything is really avoidable in this situation. You were kinda a jerk though. I don't know what you were thinking... but perhaps you liked the way it was going. - I doubt it. ha ha. Or you wanted to stop it, but were scared. Well I have to say I am as torn as you. Well, maybe not.

How do you express a feeling?
I don't know how to say it. No, - scratch that - I don't even know what to say anymore. I feel as though I may have finally run out of things to say about everything - except the stupid things of course.I knew November would be a hard month. I just do tons of work... and seem not to get very far. I still have just as much at the end of the day. But I think most people have that feeling.
It took me over a year to say it: but I really do just want to go home right now. I love this town, that's not the problem. I just really want to go home. I can't explain it... cuz it's not like there is much there either... I don't really even care about seeing my family that much. I wish I was better at English, then I would be able to express this feeling.
So, I went to a translator, to translate that and see if it would make sense... I was not amused that like 80% of it was right. That was too high... so I took out all the accents and apostrophes. But then I got really pissed when I found out that even if you don't have the accents, it still got the words correct! I don't understand that!! So, I made it in spanish and french! HAA! and I kept the apostrophes out! Somehow I think it is still understandable... grrr...

Post 353!
Haha, holding this pose was actually making my eyes water. Anyways, I just wanted to say that yesterday, althought it may have been one of the worst days, I was still optimistic all day. You can't get yourself down about things that don't really matter. Yesterday:7:30am - it's so painful getting up that early.
8:30am - got back midterm from friday, worst midterm mark in my life - a personnal échec.
10:00am - ran to group meeting which only lasted 45mins. (upset about that - not happy!)
11:00am - canceled gym for the rest of the semester with Ber.
12:30pm - Went to program library - it was closed for lunch until 1
1:05pm - Went back to library, found out only yesterday it would actually be closed until 1:30pm
1:45pm - Went back to that library, couldn't find what I was looking for - actually didn't even make it all the way inside though.
2:00pm - 9:45pm - did nothing, not even homework... somehow managed to play on my computer and watch TV that whole time.
9:45pm - f'in fire drill!
10:00pm - 11:00pm - disapointing episode of gilmore girls.
And that is why yesterday sucked! Oh- did I mention today I had to wake up at a quater to 7? Painful!!

So.... is Fall Over Already?
So I'm wondering if fall was simply skipped this year. It seemed to go from nice summerish weather, straight to snow and coldness. It snowed this morning... and now it's really cold. I'm cold! I hate weather. meh. Yesterday was intersting. I loved our 4 hour phone call Tacky! I hope neither of us get into any trouble for that. ha ha. It was great to catch up with you, cuz you know I love gossip about our friends. lol.

Our pumpkin has rotted... ew!
School has been the devil lately. I had two difficult midterms this morning, one right after the other. No need to discuss how they went b/c I really have no idea, although one I certainly have a better feeling about than the other. Anyways, I know it's my fault for not studying as much as I should have, it's just that it's been years since I have been in the center of so much drama. I remember a time when I used to love it, I used to enjoy that long phone calls about gossip and the being extra bitchy because you felt you had a reason. Those were the good old days. Drama now just doesn't seem as fun. It's rather annoying actually. Has current events caused me to receive a lower grade on my midterms today? Sometimes I would like to think so, just so that I could have someone else to blame, but the truth is my lack of studying is really only my fault.Okay, that was a little vague, but I am kinda sick of talking about it.
