Homework Prince, Please Rescue Me!
Despite clearly stating that I needed to lock myself in my room this weekend, last night was great! Heather, Craig and I went for bubble tea... I'm still wondering why I got both jelly and tapioca pears in mine when I only asked for the latter. OH well! It was interesting having them both in there. Meh, afterwards we left and bought popcorn + pop for a movie night. Ending up watching Home Alone II... which equals the first Home Alone for sure. Movie makers should learn from it because it's one of the few sequals that don't suck. Anyways, I love that movie, but sadly we didn't get to watch the end because my dvd screwed up. grrr.... now we will never know if sweet Kevin finds his family in time for christmas! ha ha, but we made it far enough to know that the bad guys we caught. Which restored my morals of course. After the movie (around 2am,) Craig went to bed, but Heather and I stayed up and talked... and talked... and talked some more, until I realized it was nearing 7am! Yup... just sat in my room and talked for hours. I have actually never seen the sun rise without falling asleep first. I was midly impressed with myself... although I thought that my first all nighter would have been due to school work. OH well, this was way more fun!!! I just thought you would like to know I had my first all nighter.... lol.

How is this Possible?
Btw - there are five people sleeping in my living room right now (trust me, I didn't know that five could fit, but somehow it must be possible). Every time I go out there I recount and find another person. This is weird. My roommate has some explaining to do.
You Got Me For A Second
Linguistics assignments are hard - especially for my friends... I on the other hand am considered one of the smarter ones because I understand what the teacher is doing in class (probably because I am better at math than they are). Anyways, so yesterday we had a group assignment helping luncheon, where I was clearly the smartest one there. lol - not to sound narcissistic, just that if there was a vote, I would have won (plus I was the only one who had a solution, the other girls had no idea what they were doing). Anyways, one of the girls who came this time was really having problems, but she was smart normally... (Tacky - think a Christyn type person cuz this girl is pretty and popular too). So yea, I helped my stupid friend, another girl, and this popular girl (who had talked to me a couple of times while we were alone waiting for class, and whom I have known for quite some time, but who tends to ignore me once her friends come). At the end of the helping session thing, were I basically showed them all how I had done the problem and hoped they thought I was right, I got up to leave for my next class and then the pop. girl looked at me with the biggest eyes and thanked me in the most sinseer way I have seen in a very long time (from anybody). I felt so good for a few seconds cuz I knew she really appreciated the time I spent trying to help her understand... but then I thought for a second, and realized she was probably going to shear those answers with her stupid friends - which made me quite angry because I hate it when people get free answers without having to work for them.

The Great Project Cram
Okay, wanna know something uber creepy that I discovered yesterday? Tacky's bday and Ciela's bday are the same day (it's coming up soon too!) and if you rearrange the letters in their names you get the other's name. Ciela = Alice. lol. Okay, that's not the weirdest part - yes they have the same letters, the same birthday and are the same age, but it's gets weirder. Ciela's best friend is Leslie, Tacky is mine. Do you want to know Leslie's birthday? Same day as mine. .... wow. Yea....

First Day of Spring! Yipee!
Classes were dull as usual... later Craig and I went to the gym, but left during a fire alarm. Afterwards I started making letters for an amazing poster I have to make for a presentation next week. I can't believe how much time I am putting it in... and it's looks like nothing right now! Grrr. Honestly I spent 3-4 hours today, and all the results can be held in my hand. That's just a little depressing. Although I must say that I think what I have done looks really cool. Hope my groupmate thinks so too.

Free Coffee! It's my lucky day!

Stick on tattoos are the coolest!
You can't really tell in this picture b/c it is small, but I have some fake tattoos on my wrist and cheat of clovers to celebrate. Sadly I am not wearing green, but that's mostly because this is a new top, but also because of all the painful years in my childhood of being forced to wear green on this day. I was always embarrassed for some reason to wear green, so today I'm keeping it real with blue!
Last night was lots of fun... Craig and I had a midnight adventure on campus as a conclusion to what started as a super fun dance party, although neither one of us danced... so it later progressed into us just sitting around. lameness. Sadly of late we haven't been dancing at these super fun dance parties... and we really need to find something to do instead, because they are getting unspecial. We seem to have one almost every week!
Anyways, people are getting excited as school is almost over, but I can't seem to see an end in sight. From where I stand I still have two midterms, one small assignement, two presentations (one major, one minor), two essays, and one major project. Only upon completition of those will I get to study for exams.

The big 400!!
This is my blog's 400th birthday. Impressive.
So my brother and his friend came up Monday afternoon for march break. After a two hour delay with their transportation due to the derailment of a train in front of them, they finally made it to my house only to be shocked and scared at the mess I live in. Not that it's really my fault, I just have one really messy roommate who doesn't clean. They were equally amazed that we have no cups, plates or anything to eat with in our kitchen, as they are all in messy roommate's room. wow. Anyways, as I had class after I picked them up from the train station, I left them alone to wonder the city. Then later Monday night was spent playing pool and watching saving private ryan. Tuesday Ry and Nicholas went to Carlton and hung out with Nick's family and even went to a class. ha ha. Later Maggie came over and the four of us wondered downtown again... without my success in finding something super fun to do. Wednesday Nick went to quantum physics at Carlton then the boys went to the war museum. Sounds like I got a lot of work done in their absence... nope - Maggie and I started to watch a movie when I was finished class. Later on we all went out for dinner in the market and more beavertails. yummy! Followed by more pool and air hockey that night.
So now they are about to leave and I am super tired. Sadly I'm going to have a painful weekend ahead of me as Saturday is st. Patrick's day, but I have an essay and midterm on Monday (essay finished but needs revision) while midterm hasn't started to be studied for, and a essay/synthesis due Wednesday that I haven't even started! boooo.

Post 399 ~ Before a very long weekend...
Anyways, today is the beginning of a busy weekend. Tonight I promised a friend I would go see a play she wrote and directed... so I'm going to that with some other friends, then Craig and I are having a super fun dance party when I get home. ha ha. We have been adding to our terrible music collection lately... I must say that we have some pretty crappy songs on the list now. lol. Somehow I need to find the time to get other homework done, even though I have most of the weekend. Sunday however is going to be dedicated to the cleaning of this uber messy apartment so my brother and his friend don't have to sleep in filth. Yea, they will be coming up next week for a couple of days. Which reminds me of how much I miss march break. ggrrr....

BTW - I forget to add...
P.S. It's my half birthday today!!
Not that i'm excited about being on the down slop towards twenty, but it's still something to celebrate.

The brown is definitely fading... boo.
Even though it was pretty much to be expected, I did super well on Spanish midterm... although not as well as I could have done if I hadn't made some stupid mistakes. ggrrrr.... Anyways, don't want to boast. My brother called me last night and is going to come up and visit me during his school break. Exciting! He's bringing a friend which I am actually feeling good about because then he will not be alone while I'm in class. So next week is going to be amazing! However it means I need to get lots of things done this weekend. Thus it's going to be a boring weekend... perhaps only a super fun dance party to cheer me up after whole days of homework? ha ha.

Post 396!
Anyways, movie night tonight with Ciela! Exciting!
Ack! I think I can already see the blonde showing through my beautiful brown hair! (or is that just in this pic that it looks weird?) Well, as long as my hair neve goes back to it's natural color, everything will be just fine.

Something Different?!
-BTW, Maggie doesn't think that coloring my hair brown made me any smarter... shame.

It's lent again... no more ice cream
Reading week is not going perfectly as planned... Tuesday was actually laundry day... Wednesday was fun, and now i'm being snowed in on Thursday. arrg. So yea, yesterday Jenny and I went to a sandy lion sticker outlet store. Amazing! Something told me to buy stickers... and I did.... spent 11 dollars on stickers! Insane! ha ha. Then we went clothing shopping... Jenny got some things but I held back. The deals were not good enough! ha ha. In total, Jenny and I went to three malls yesterday... plus the sticker place! ha ha... that is mad skill! We both stared at the animals in all three pet stores for sooo long. We fell in love with a cat that we both wanted... and there was an adorable guinea pig and some dwarf hamsters I could have taken home with me if my parents allowed other pets. Grr! They are sooo cute! Anyways, for dinner we met up with Sharon and Henry at Pickle Barrel. yummy! Followed of course by more shopping. Afterwards we were trying to think of somewhere to go, but realized we were stuck in the middle of nowhere! GRR! I hate this town sometimes and which we could have just gone downtown. oh well. Hopefully tomorrrow will be fun with Tacky!

Kung hei fat choy!
Pig! mmmm... I should look into the pig / rabbit relationship.
So I like totally thought that I was doomed to spend another boring night in rez before going back home... but then my friend Leslie from class called me and asked me to go skating with her and Meaghan. I said that I would love to come, but wasn't going to be skating... which was fine. ha ha... so that was my third time without skates. lol. Umm, so then the three of us went out for dinner... which was really yummy! After which we went back to Meaghan's to hang out with her roommate and some other friends to watch a movie. ha ha, I really didn't get what was going on... maybe we were talking too much. What a good night though... except nearly freezing to dealth.... which sucked a lot.

Is there something to the right?
Arg, starring at this picture makes me really want a haircut. Which reminds me... brown hair after the break! Yup, after the break I'm dying my hair brown! It's my plan at least... i'm sick of my two colored hair right now as the top of my head looks almost brown, and the lower half is still rather blonde. grrr.. that's the life of a half blonde for you, the lesson is that no matter how hard you try to be a real blonde, the world will never let it become true.

Stuck Where it is Cold!!
As I refuse to relive any of the midterms I did this week, I'll just talk about the fun stuff I got to do that I never blogged about. Monday... study group with Leslie for Linguistics. Tuesday, study group with Leslie again, but for another course. In fact it lasted so long that we turned it into a Gilmore Girls study party. ha ha. Wednesday I was feeling too stressed and studied very little on my own. Thursday finished all midterms for the week. Today I went out to lunch with Leslie - mardi gras buffet baby! ha ha... let's just say I found most things except dessert a little too spicy for my taste... Tomorrow: group meeting with Danielle and Meaghan! Goodie!

Broke a Treasure
Stress growing. Very upset today because I somehow broke my ring. If you don't know which ring I am taking about, shame on you, it's the only ring I ever wear. Three midterms this week... plus a project to conclude the week. I'm not ready of any of them. I just wanted to share the sadness of my ring. It's really bothering me b/c I keep expecting it to be there every time I rub my fingers together. Plus my parents might be angry when I tell them b/c this is the like 6th / 7th time I broke it. That's what they get for giving it to me sooo long ago... wow, now that I think about it, I have probably had it for at least 10 years... no wonder my finger feels such a loss.
