I DISLIKE my neighbour...

In yesterday's blog entry, I kinda forget to tell you something terrible that I did. You might know that my neighbour is a real jerk, whom I never got along with. He is constantly blasting his base and so I can feel a constant vibration in my room. I really dislike this guy - hate is a strong word you shouldn't use. Anyways, so yesterday I had a chance to talk to my C.A. for the floor, and I kinda flipped. I told him that I wasn't getting along with my neighbour -which I have never once complained to him about. He took it pretty seriously (especially considering his character) and asked me to fill in an official U. of O complaint form. Oh la la! lol. So ya, I basically poured a semester and bit's worth of complaints onto this form. Now i'm pretty sure my neighbour is in big trouble. I kinda regret it b/c I was never planning on telling my C.A. at all, but I just kinda flipped out when I saw him.

Also, my C.A. was kinda mad at me b/c I hadn't told him sooner. I mean - WTF?!?!?! I understand he wants to get this documented when they happen... but I'm not going to go running to him every time my neighbour breaks a rule! I mean, I would end up seeing him every day if that was the case!!! ACK!

Damn these jerks we live with!

Guess What I Did.... AGAIN

lol. Shopping is my passion in life. When you ask me what some of my favorite things to do are, apart for simple hanging out with friends, I bet my first answer will be going shopping. Anyone who reads this blog will quickly learn this.

Nyways, shopping was awesome. After the gym this morning I hung out with Maggie... lol, Foamy rocks! Then went shopping at mall. I bought quite a lot compared to what I normally get. My list includes green underwear, one cup, a bday card, and a super short zip up sweater-jacket thingy... you know what I mean... yah... for this last item I wooudn't normally have bought it but it was cute... and people convinced me it was nice. (the price kinda help with the convincing...) In total - not including tax - this came up to only 15$... pretty good deals.

Back to the drag of school work. Just thought I'd let you know that I haven't changed a bit. lol.

P.S. Walking back home in the freezing rain was not the best experience of my life. Both Heather and I nearly fell at least once.

So I hear it's the year of the dog... curses! I have to wait a few more years for it to be my year! Nevertheless, hope everyone celebrating has a good 4704~ Gong Hay Fat Choy! (doubt I spelled that right...)

Nyways, I found out some annoying news last night. This girl I met has been twisting my words and trying to be my bff. Ack! She pisses me off... what am I going to do? I don't have the heart to tell her to fuck off. Thus, I resort to my old saying of grin it & bare it. Eventually she will move on. It's just another faze for her. Little does she know, many people she once considered her bff in ottawa are on my side. *Good feelings*

Why is it that when girls get into groups, they always talk about how much another girl sucks? It's totally true, we are never talking about how much somebody rocks. Next time i'm in that situation, I'm going to bring up a girl that the group likes and see how long it takes for somebody to start listing some of her bad qualities.

REALLY Bad Hair Day!

My hair just simply looks bad this morning. There is no way to explain the way a girl's hair works without using the work uncooperative and evil.

Hung out with Maggie last night in my rez. Turns out msn has some possitive qualities, cuz if I hadn't been online, I would have spent a more boring night. lol. Although, I would have gotten more work done...
Nyways, I have A LOT of work to do this weekend. I shouldn't be bugged. lol, this means no shopping... boo hoo. *tears* . okay, I will not die of deprevation, I suppose not at least, but it is still a sad thing.

Took a trip during memory lane after telling Maggie a story... now i'm listening to Sisqo's "the thong song". If you know this one, keep it to yourself.

Lunch

For lunch today, i had, unarguably the worst attempt at chinese food I have EVER seen! It was just bad! Although I did get a fortune cookie which reads: "He who hurries cannot walk with dignity". I don't see how that is a fortune, cuz it's more of a point than a prediction. Anyways, that possibily the only chinese thing about my lunch.

Shopping on a wednesday... oh la la!

I just wrote my blog entry for today, but for some reason it didn't post...

Nyways, my day was quite ordinary. Even though wednesday my classes start later than any other day, I still woke up to the alarm. No matter how hard I try, the desire to sleep in always overrids my desire to get to class on time. Feh. I wasn't late, but I'm usually a little earlier.

After school stuff was done, I went to the gym with my ever growing gym group. Lol, it started off as just two people, now it's so huge. fitness rocks! - no worries, i'm not being to serious here. After being lazy at the gym and not really doing all the much, Maggie and I went shopping! woot! The bus ride there was forever long! (lol, creppy old lady kept talking to us about her boyfriend and piercing & tatoos - ack!). When we finally got there... we treated ourselves to a beavertail (this nastily fatty dough mixture that is really popular in ottawa).

When I got back to my rez, i realized I needed a book to do my homework. I didn't want to have to ask this girl to borrow it, again! So I went to the library, but the lady RIGHT infront of me in the line took the last copy! I was f'in pissed!!! Cuz she had it on loan for 2 hours!!! DIE DIE! Nyways, so I came back to rez to borrow it from another girl on my floor, but alas, she wasn't even home. So in the end, i borrowed it from the girl I would have borrowed it from in the first place but wasted a bunch of time running around. meh!

Well, since I went to all this trouble to get the book, I should probably go do the work...

I accidentally tripped a staff member in the caf today...

Two thoughts for today:
1. How do I feel about a minority conservative government?
2. Don't ever tell me what you think of a person before I have a chance to make a judgement!

Answers:
1. Seeing as how I know very little about politics, other than conservatives are the ones with morals, I'm not terribly upset, except however, I DON'T want to be made into a 'little america'. We already are freakishly identical to the U.S., but as a Canadian, I would still like to be considered very different. Please don't let us become more like them, let's keep what individuality we have left.
2. I met this girl, I thought she was nice. People told me bad things about her but I tried to keep an open mind. Everything that I heard still keeps coming into mind when I'm around her and I notice that it is kinda true. So now I never really got a chance to form my own opinion about her because I'm just believing what other people told me about her. I wish I never had been told that, b/c now I don't like her, whereas we could have been friends before.

I FINALLY got it!

Yesterday I went to get my hair cut at the mall. I knew it would be expensive, otherwise I would have gotten more highlightes - cuz we all know i'm fading back into the nasty dark blondeness (eww...). It was pretty expensive, but the guy I had to cut my hair was really awesome. I loved the way my hair was so soft and pretty after I got it cut. woot! It still smells really good.

Other than that, yesterday was a total waste of time. I got absolutely nothing done. Since I'm burning DVDs and trying to clean up my computer, I couldn't do any work on it (cuz it was too slow - the program I have for burning is a killer of energy). Feh. Today I still need to burn more stuff, but I really want to get some work done. We shall see how it goes. TTYL!

Tales OF Shopping!

Yesterday I was consumed with the shopping desire. I went to mall #1 with the plan to get my hair cut, but that never really happened, and then I got bored and went to mall #2 and spent a large sum of money, while still not getting my stupid hair cut. I bought a bunch of things that I need, including paper for printing. But they only sold paper in bunches of 500+ and I didn't want that much, so I complained a little bit and in the end, this lady stole some paper from their photo-copier and gave it to me at a discounted rate! woot!!! I bought other random things, but the day was topped off by talking to Tacky live over msn. I really don't like excessive typing all that much, so it rocked that I could simply talk and didn't need to actually do any work. YAH!

Today, I woke up at a decent hour, and lay in bed reading a book I borrowed from a neighbour. She gave it to me a while ago and I felt bad that I had kept it for so long, thus I finished it this morning and gave it back to her. (sense of accomplishment! YaH!). After lunch - grilled cheese AGAIN - I met up with this girl to let her borrow some study notes, and then we and some other friends went bowling! To get to the bowling alley we went to this girl's house where we were all meeting but sadly on the walk to there, my pink shoes got soaking wet and my socks turned pink b/c they die had run. So I had to borrow some new socks while my friend blow-dryed my shoes. That's just kinda sad!

Nyways, I actually really sucked a bowling today. After many games, we went down to the mall for dinner. (yummy!). Somehow, even when not planned, I end up going to the mall. On the way home, we also had to cut through another mall, which brings both yesterday's and today's tally up to two malls per day. Shopping is superfun!

I NEED a haircut!

I was made an offer so good today that I couldn't refuse. I wish that I myself had come up with the plan to begin with. It excites me nonetheless. There are some good things brewing in my mind. Watching them fall into place shall bring my great joy, but planning them is what I like the most.


Today was not worth complaining about. It was decent in fact. My friend showed to a part of campus I hadn't really explored yet, and it turns out that there was a bigger T.Hortons all along. I had heard that there was... but I thought it was just a rumor.

Bad Morning, Good Afternoon

I had to wake up super early this morning for class (grr...) and after only 6 hours of sleep (sooo below my average). My first class wasn't too wonderful but I survived it. Then I came back to res to try to get some homework done. I suffered a little while doing that - just cuz it was too easy and super repetitive. (The picture was taken during one of my homework 'breaks'). Then my last class was pure hell. It was truely a painful experience.

After that, I went shopping to lift my spirits. I bought makeup (lol, tacky, you have the purple, I had the pink, and now I have the blue one too - we have all the best colors!), plus I got a birthday card for my friend's bday this week.

I also went to the grocery store and bought supplies for making grilled cheese sandwiches. yummy. So of course, when I got back, I found the desperate need to through myself a little grilled cheese party. lol. So I sat in the common room, had sandwiches and watched Operah. It was awesome b/c only one person came in the whole time I was there. I wish I could have the common room all to myself all the time... (but that obviously in impossible - cuz my floor sucks).
Too Bad It's ONLY Tuesday.

Guys & Dogs

I was walking through campus early tonight and my friend and I passed this guy walking the cutest dog ever. Ber was totally into the dog so we stopped with some other girls who were already there to pet the dog. Seriously, this dog would totally make any girl stop to play with it, cuz it was so small and friendly... nyways, so ya, a group of girls had stopped to play with this amazingly cute dog who was being walked my is sexy male owner. It was obvious to all of us that the guy probably had planned to use this dog to get chicks but we didn't care. I WANT THAT DOG!! lol... oddly enough, the guy didn't make a move on any of the girls, in fact, he didn't even say anything! Let it be known as a fact, that if you are a half decent guy walking a happy little puppy, you could get ANY girl you wanted. That's just how it is.

Curse the cold.

I didn't really have much work to do today, but I still feel annoyingly unaccomplished for the day. I hate not doing anything - ack! I should have gone shopping like I planned today! Curse the cold!

Hair Talk

damn, my hair is getting long! Have you ever noticed that people consider their hair long if it's longer than the length they normally keep their hair? And not long as in longer for the average human being. When we see someone with actually long hair we know their hair is long, but ours might be shorter and we still say its pretty long.

I'm kinda the person who has had many random lengths during their life (it's been as short as down to my mouth, and as long as an inch above my belly button.) So really, my hair is probably just an average length, but lately I have been keeping it shorter. I do like it long, but it's just messy right now. I need to fix it (my layers are totally screwed up).

Then of course there is the problem of what color to make it next. I have to admit it never really went fully blonde again since I died it brown, but it's still blonde. Should I add some blonde back in? or go some other random color (brown again.... or many a little tint of red...?)

MY GOSH! how girlie that all sounds. Only a bubble-headed blonde like myself could ramble on and on about their hair. I do like being blonde... otherwise I wouldn't be able to say stuff like this last sentance. Being blonde is kinda like an excuse for me to do stupid things and get away with them.

I REALLY can't seem to decide what to do with my hair though... do you even realize how many people I have asked to help me out on this, and still I can't make a decision.... a thousand curses! Soon all my nasty actually brownish colored hair will grow back and I'll go back to having nasty hair!

I'm "home"

Took the train up here today. My Gosh that seemed to take FOREVER! I was super bored. Eventually my laptop ran out of battery power and I had to just sit in the seat. My first neighbour was this guy about 30 years old. He didn't say much to me so we sat in silence. BORING! Finally he left, then I had two seats for a few mins before my second neighbour came. He was about my age, and super annoying. When the food trolly came, he got chocolate milk and made a HUGE deal about how it was in a bottle. "I've had it in a carton, and some other ways, but NEVER in a bottle, this is just weird"... then after he drank most of it, he said "I'm so tired, I wonder what's in this milk" ... then later "wow, there most have been something in that milk" ... thus he blaimed every condition he was in on the milk in a bottle. I totally wanted to yell at him to GET OVER IT! lol. I was very poliete though and just pretented to laugh and think that he was stupidly funny. Nyways, that was my trip on the train. When I got in res it took me quite a while to unpack.

I don't understand why my school has to start so early. I wanted a longer break.
2mora I need to get up early for class... oh goodie! lol.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2005 was pretty good, so I have some high hopes for 2006. Last year I spent the new years at home with family. This year I was out at a mall with friends. Such an upgrade... lol.
I also saw King Kong. Tacky and I have so many unanswered questions. HOW did they get Kong to New York?!?! I mean, wouldn't the boat sink?!!? Whatever.
I called truce with robin. I do mean it. I shall be good to you this year. As for everyone else, I plan on being my regular old self. Hope you have no complaints.
